| Harbridge was established in 1934, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, as a residential heating and sheet metal business; the company expanded into the commercial and industrial design/build markets.
Throughout the 1970's, Harbridge. developed and installed a number of industrial exhaust and ventilation systems, including the early versions of the now patented "VH" Liquid Stripe Exhaust System. The success of the company's innovative work generated 200+ installations across the country and made Harbridge. a leading manufacturer of specialized can making equipment.
In 1981, the purchase of heat exchanger technology of Tjernlund Customaire made Harbridge. the exclusive manufacturer and supplier of Tjernlund heat exchangers. In addition to the Tjernlund line, the company began designing and manufacturing custom-built heat exchange systems across OEM and user markets.
In 2002 the company was purchased by it's current president Steven Gougé. It was redirected from it's manufacturing base to focus on engineering and sales of heat exchangers, pneumatic systems and industrial process equipment.
